We are Weston Electronics, a ham radio repair and sales company that is oriented around the amateur radio hobby. Jim Weston is our Founder, President, and Chief Technician. Jim has twenty-one years of management experience in the high tech industry, working for a major fortune 100 corporation. He also has thirty-four years of both professional and hobby related experience as an electronics technician; working on anything from vacuum tubes, to transistors, to integrated circuits. He holds an Extra Class Amateur Radio License (K4COD), has been active in the hobby for 32 years, and Jim has also built his own aircraft which he has been piloting since 1998. This is an accomplishment that few attempt and even fewer complete. Jim has also worked as a software developer and a systems engineer, having been educated in Aerospace Engineering.
We will consider the repair and alignment of any type of non-licensed equipment (ie. equipment that is not regulated by the medical industry or some other government agency). In other words, we will repair items such as amateur (ham) radio equipment, stereo equipment, juke boxes, and test equipment. Please check our 'Repair Services' page for details.
